Mitten

A genetic crossbreed between rodent and feline, the name itself is a portmanteau of mouse and kitten.

The breed is exceedingly rare, and characterized by their skittishness and curiosity which results in rather eccentric behavior.

Because of the rarity and near artificial nature of the breed, there exist no established norms or customs unique to them as a race. It is thus likely for them to take on the customs of a more established race.

Natural born Mittens are next to non existent and rarely exhibit any strange outward appearances, tending to all look either like a rodent or a feline. Generally only artificially made Mittens show any atypical physical appearances.

The existence of the breed is not common knowledge, however Mittens are somewhat of a common curiosity within the realm of genetic studies given the near ironic pairing.
